That glowing feeling.........
|
That feeling of euphoria has been few and far between as an Irons fan. I was 22 at the end of the 85/86 season and I'm 51 now. What age were/are you caaaaants? If you weren't born in 86 give a minus age. You Irons.

I missed the world cup win by two years but I've been lucky enough to see us thump Chelsea on many occasions.

Under BFS there was no JOY - it is anathema to him.
Bilic however is a bringer of joy - Manfred Mann's EarthBand and all that - for pop music afficianados like me.
I was 30 at siad game which menas I had lots of euphoria at UP watching the likes of Hurst Moore & Peters, which is................
... the obvious behind my WHO name and NOT her Majestys Prison as some have thought.

I was at the Ipswich game in '86 as an 18 year old and today aged 47,,,, best atmosphere for a very long time. Give the fans something to cheer and we will respond... those BFS years were a long 4 years!!!

I was 11, first season I properly started going regular, it took about 10 games plus before I actually realised West Ham did actually sometimes lose

Oh, I've experienced the euphoria before. Started in the days of Gregory, Bond and Cantwell. Promotion to the 1st division. Saw the arrivals of Moore, Greenwood, Peters, Hurst, Bonds and Brooking. Our FA cup wins, ECWC and, of course the world cup. Yep, I've felt the euphoria and it's good, innit?

Nice one tips and all. I know we haven't won anything today other than 3 more points but I've not had such a prolonged feeling of satisfaction for a very long time.
